Michael is a Melbourne based Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, currently in a full time hospital Clinical Director role after many years in Private and Public practice. He is a Clinical Associate Professor with Melbourne University. Michael trained in Melbourne and Dublin Ireland, and soon after receiving his Fellowship in 1991, began his involvement in college activities as Training supervisor and through the Victorian State Committee where he served as Treasurer and Chair.
Michael has been involved in Diploma and Fellowship examinations over many years, and is committed to fair assessment processes across all College activities. He has served as College Councillor for a number of terms, receiving the Presidents Medal in 2017. This is Michael’s first term as Board Director. Challenges lie ahead. Michael is committed to keeping the College adaptable, relevant to the needs of its members, and responsive to the needs of our communities.
