To be eligible for the RANZCOG NSW State Committee Travelling Scholarship, applicants must:
Be a FRANZCOG NSW trainee who occupies a prospectively approved training position in NSW at the time of application.
Be a FRANZCOG NSW trainee who has completed a minimum of 138 weeks FTE (three years) of basic training and has sat and passed the FRANZCOG written examination or is an Advanced trainee at the time of travel. Applicants must apply for and receive Prospective Approval of Training from the NSW Regional TAC Chair via the online portfolio.
Spend three (3) or six (6) months in a developing country located in the Asia-Pacific region and be actively involved in the education of local colleagues; midwifery or medical depending on the setting.
Not have previously been awarded a RANZCOG NSW Asia-Pacific region travelling scholarship to a developing country in the duration of their training.
