About

The Mukhtiar and Ragbhir Sidhu RANZCOG Asian and Pacific Developing Countries Education Grant aims to support activities that improve maternal mortality or morbidity and assist in fetal surveillance in low- and middle-income countries in Asia and the Pacific.

The grant can be used to support current O&G trainees from low- and middle-income countries in Asia and the Pacific to participate in a clinical observership in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand for 1-4 weeks in a tertiary O&G department in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Clinical Observership, applicants must:

Be a citizen and resident of a low- or middle-income country in Asia or the Pacific

Be a trainee currently enrolled in an O&G training program

Be able to comply with visa requirements for travel to Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand

Applications for the clinical observership are not being accepted currently. Notification of availability and information about the application process will be provided in 2027-28.
