The Mary Elizabeth Courier Research Scholarship provides funding for research into gynaecological cancer or high risk pre-cancerous lesions.

To be eligible for the Mary Elizabeth Courier Research Scholarship, applicants must be:



Undertaking research into gynaecological cancer or high risk pre-cancerous lesions



Undertaking their research study in a hospital, university department or research institute in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand



Medical graduates within five (5) years of the award of a Masters, PhD or FRANZCOG



Resident in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand

One (1) award of AUD$40,000 per annum (up to $120,000 in total).

Applications for the majority of RANZCOG Women’s Health Foundation Research and Travel Grants and Scholarships will open again in 2026.
