The Ella Macknight Memorial Scholarship provides funding for research in any aspect of obstetrics and gynaecology, and related disciplines.

This scholarship is open to:



Graduates in medicine or science, within five years of the award of a Masters or PhD.

The Ella Macknight Memorial Scholarship provides one award of $25,000 per year for two years ($50,000 in total).

Please note that this is a research only grant.

Applications for the majority of RANZCOG Women’s Health Foundation Research and Travel Grants and Scholarships will open again in 2026.
