Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Vase leads the implementation of the College’s strategic direction as determined by the Board, overseeing all College operations including specialist training, assessment, continuing professional development (CPD), and clinical standards. She provides expert advice on governance and risk and ensures compliance with regulatory bodies such as the AMC and MCNZ.
She also represents RANZCOG across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, strengthening relationships with members, governments, health organisations, and other medical colleges. She leads stakeholder engagement, workforce development, and advocacy on women’s health issues, while promoting an inclusive, values-driven culture within the organisation.
Vase holds qualifications in business, accounting, and health services management, including a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), CPA certification, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Master of Health and Human Services Management. She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has undertaken executive education at INSEAD, Yale University, and the Melbourne Business School.
